Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Just talked to Matt, we can't send letters to the shipmate anymore it violates a policy that we were unaware of :( anyway thanks all for your help!

I just got my first 20 minute call from boot camp, and Matt is doing well, he had his wisdom teeth pulled on Monday but is back up and in the swing of things.

Hi there! Got the address and I just put a card in the mail.....I hope he's received a lot. I love to do this. We always try to pay it forward on N4M's so thanks for doing this! ~Kerry
he mentioned he was getting all kinds of medical check ups and that they are going to remove his wisdom teeth! I hope that doesn't delay his graduation date. I worried how he did.
Us mothers want to keep on taking care of our babies...its so hard to stop! I'm glad you heard from your son Matt. I'm looking forward to more letters ...soon i hope.
I'm back at work this week...need distraction. ; )
We have had a death in the family the same week Ben left...needless to say it's been rather difficult. I"m actually looking forward to some sort of Normacy.
we received Ben's address and box this week. I've mailed some letters. haven't opened the box yet....
I have just saw the u tube videos about navy boot camp. that helps a bunch. talk to u soon.
I have a daughter who is the oldest(turning 21 in a couple of weeks). She going to school to be a elementary teacher. I really appreciate this site..talking to moms going through the same thing. a lot of mom know all the in and outs of military life and their knowledge is very helpful to me. I think this site will help me cope.
