1 proudmama,,,That is aabout when I was thinking. He is an EM. I know he said he has had some pretty intense hours.

Maybe he will graduate on his b day? that would be fun. His twin will out to Sea,Sea, Sea...

Co-twin... if I remember right your son is at the marf plant so I think different graduation. My son's roommate is at that plant and started after him but in all likely hood will graduate before my son do to maintenance problems at S8G. But pay attention to when 1402 graduates and should be 2 months after that. if he is at S8G my son says for now they are saying May, and this is all rumors and best guesses.hope this helps give you  a ball park figure.

B'sNuke you are such a ray of sunshine! I borrowed my profile pic from you and your cute little postings.

Cool about your Fireman son, Rhonda! You seem to have raised 2 heroes!

Glad you are sticking around, B'sNuke. What would we do without you? My son reported to his base today. I need N4Ms more than ever!

Oh and Co-Twin - yep my sailor might be graduating but surely you must know it's not that easy to get rid of me lol!  I hope everyone else sticks around too.

He may be moving on to VA but I'm not going anywhere.  I have too much fun here ;-).

Hi all - Happy Wednesday!  I see a couple of you have changed your profile pics - NancyJo and Co-Twin.  Love the new look!

Rhonda - congrats to your oldest on his graduation from the Fire Academy.  Safe travels to you!  We'll have to plan on getting together after I get back from sailor's prototype graduation.

Someone was asking about shipping items.  I always used the USPS "if it ships it fits" box.  The large box cost $15.80 to ship and was always there in 2 days (from CA to GC and later from CA to NY).  I would print the label online (you can even order free boxes online).  I never had a problem with a box getting to my son.  Just make sure to tape the box really well!  I would cram as much stuff as I could in those boxes LOL!  You don't want them to break open in transit.

Co-Twin - so happy that your house has sold.  Yes it's bittersweet but now you can completely move on.....which you seem to have done quite well I might add!

Good luck to all taking their 50% exams.

We made it to BC grad, A school grad and now we are going to prototype grad - woohoo!  We were all set to go to Power School grad but our sailor didn't pass and had to re-comp.  Because of that he didn't get to walk in the ceremony :(  It's a long/quick trip for us (from CA to NY) and sailor is going to fly back home with us for his 30 day leave, but we just decided we really want to do this (even more so since we didn't get PS grad).  I pray that the weather holds up for since as we fly into NY on 1/21.  Fingers crossed!

Have a great day!

Good Morning Nuke Moms!!  Just wanted to brag real quick about my older son who is graduating from the Fire Academy tomorrow.  We are heading up this morning to Chico, Ca for his graduation.  Its about a 9 hour drive but worth every minute.  So proud of him.  Its a super tough program and he was in the top 10 of his class.  Can't wait to see what his future will hold after he finishes his Paramedic courses.  ;-)

On another note about my Sailor, Does anyone in this group have a newer A student in class 1509A?  Just curious.  His class is 35 Sailors and I would love to meet other Mom's that may have a son or daughter in his class.

Have a blessed day and again, thanks to all of you for the information you provide.  It is so helpful for us newbies!!
