Sherri - there should be a discussion group up above here about the villas.  Yes, your son has to actually make the reservation, but you can contact them for availability and pricing and he can use your credit card number to book it.

Nice to know that he will hopefully get time at Christmas.  Now he and his bride will need to decide if they should try to move her to SC over that time.  He thinks no, cuz Nuke school is hard and if he doesn't make it then it would cost them money to mover her again.  She (and I) think yes, it is a long time to the end of A school when he wants to move her.   Any input?

Bandito's mom...Emily is correct....What i can tell you is Mihcael got to GC on Dec 4, but had 14 days leave for Christmas. HOWEVER, we could not book his tickets UNTIL his SLPO gave him final confirmation about 4 days before his leave started....As Emily said...nothing is for sure till those papers are in hand...

Not going negative is always a positive. :)
Okay, I am beat! It has been a looooong weekend. Full of cleaning, helping mom, and keeping the kiddos occupied. Not to mention lack of sleep since the youngest kiddo (a year) sleeps in my room and gets up at 6am. Talk about birth control!!
Aaron is back in SC. My brother and his wife (who surprised me by coming home) are on their way to see her family. And my sister and her family are on their way home. No worries about being lonely, everybody but Aaron will be back on Friday for some more fun! :)

On another note-- I dropped Aaron  off at the airport this morning. And I decided to try to see if I could get a pass to sit with him at his gate. I had no idea it would be so easy! All I had to do was ask the lady when Aaron checked in. She took my ID and wahla. I got to spend an extra hour with him just relaxing and talking. :)
Now back to cleaning for my mom....

Andi - hmmmm, I'm trying to remember about how he got to the airport.  He actually came home around midnight on the 18th and I believe he and a couple of other guys shared a taxi to the airport, so probably not him.  Good memory thought.

And emily, Eric had been out of BC for about 2 weeks before he took christmas leave. he only took 7 days as he was on t-track during all that time and he only had about 10 days racked up and didnt wanna go negative

Kat random question...did your son get a ride to the airport with some random people? Because I had gotten into GC on the 17th of december, weekend before christmas and was staying a hotel for the weekend. My bf helped some random guy carry his seabag he was waiting for a cab and I was on my way to pick him up for the day so my bf called me asking if I was ok giving some guy a ride to the airport. I don't remember his name but as we were all talking in the car he said he was from Arizona. your post earlier made me wonder haha

my son was on t-track over Christmas, but he got the whole time off because he chose NOT to take leave after he graduated A school.  He said that the ones who took leave after A school only got a week of leave at Christmas.
