For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I think I get Century and Cinemax, I'm not at work to check. I know they are the big ones here. I guess I could do some research on the web and find out. 5% on Best Buy is nothing to snarl at. 5% is 5%!

I think David is ready to get schooling moving and be through with alot of the "busy work" that they are doing. Although, I am sure after a few weeks of the schedule you outlined, he will welcome a little busy work that doesn't demand so much of his brain.

My ex-husband was in the Army stationed at Fort Ord, CA and I started it there and brought it home and have never used the word, "pop." People wonder what I am talking about unless I say "Coke" then they know. I was at a wedding reception once and I went to the bar and asked what kind of "soda" did they have and the guy looked at me if I were nuts! I laughed and asked for a "Coke" and he gave it to me. I had to explain what I meant and then he too laughed. But, it will always be "Soda" for me.

In fact, I have a bunch of web sites where i go and buy discounted gift cards. Already got him a couple Best Buy cards at a 5% discount. Not a lot on that one but it all adds up. I even got Starbuck's the other day for 9% discount. I get AMC movie theater cards for 14%-20% discounts, and many more.
The Subway cards are always sold out when i check on them though.
Does anyone know of any other restaurants that are faily close to base that we could get discounts for?
