B'sNukeMoM - love the picture!! Crossing fingers and saying prayers that everything works out for your hubby.

JayDee659 - you are very right regarding housing. There is no "perfect" fit for everyone.

Chipmunk - Really hoping my sailor adjusts to a "kindle" life as he is very adamant that reading is sensory. He needs to feel and smell the pages :)

KayCee - and NNLori - love the picture. Glad you had a good time.

MoMom - enjoy every minute!

Hoping everyone is enjoying their day!

Hi all - Happy Wednesday!

See the source image

KayCee - Love the pictures!  Glad you got to meet up with NNLori and lunch at Poe's Tavern with your sailor looks wonderful ;-D  The packing and shipping does sound a little stressful but I'm sure your son was happy to have you there helping.  Hopefully everything worked out and he'll be off to his duty station without a hitch.

MoMom - have a wonderful time on your trip!

Hi - back from GC now after Prototype graduation.  Such a nice graduation!  BZ to all graduates in the pipeline!  I must say that the couple days after graduation - quite stressful.  Packing and shipping is what we did, besides selling his car.  My sailor can't quite figure out the moving thing online and the Navy is delayed with flights so he is taking it upon himself...

Here is a pic of me and NNLori and graduation and one of my sailor where we had lunch at Poe's Tavern on Sullivan's Island - yummy!

MoMom, sounds like you are in for a fabulous time! Enjoy the kiddos.

B’NukeMom, that’s a great picture of your son. Congratulations on his accomplishments!

B'sNukeMom - I hear you - it is a fact that those of us of a more 'mature' age just don't recover or heal as readily as those more the age of our nukes. Sure hope the job works out for your hubby.

MoMom --  Oh how exciting!!! I know you are looking forward to this and a visit with your other kids has well. Have a good time!

PacNWmom - thanks for sharing! And congratulations to you son!

Great picture B'sNukeMom - I know you are proud. Sorry to hear about Hubby's ankle still not being completely healed.

Comment by B'sNukeMoM⚓️MMN(Vet) on June 25, 2019 at 6:55pm

ProudOfK - thank you!  And hubby's ankle has not completely healed (it will be a year at the end of July). He was finally released by the dr to return to work but the company he worked for closed their doors 5 days after he fell off the ladder.  He's been collecting unemployment for a while now (after being on disability for almost 7 months) but it looks like he might have a new job lined up - fingers crossed.  I don't think his ankle will ever be the same (dr says it's because he "is at that age you know!").  I swear if I hear that one more time I might punch someone lol.  So yeah, that's where we're at.....

B'sNukeMom - awesome picture! So glad I had the privilege of meeting him. Which reminds me - did your husbands foot/ankle ever completely recover? You may have said but I don't remember just now.
