Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Comment by suebal MM3 USS California SSN781 on August 14, 2013 at 10:33am: Prototype class 1206 in Goose Creek is going to start their comps tomorrow. My sailor is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am. It has been so ridiculous at the boat trying to get signatures and "people needed." His class is 300--3 times the normal size--and on top of that they have to "share" with 1301...he's stressed, but not nearly as bad as so many others. He has been trying to get some of the dinq sailors help, but it's very very tough. Sending prayers up for all of them!!!

Comment by Regi on August 14, 2013 at 9:57am: Jennifer, My understanding is that if they miss 2 days if lecture that there is no way for them to make up that missed content without being being rolled back into the next class. My son was moved back also for this reason and will be grsduating on the 23rd as long as the comp test goes well. I think it's standard procedure.

but if he can convince his chief to let him take the test tomorrow (without a study day) he thinks he can at least pass it and graduate

Sounds like they want him to rest up. Hope this helps. Sorry to hear about this, I know the feeling because I got a call li,r this 4 days out from graduation. my nuke has been SIQ yesterday and today
he is supposed to graduate fri the 23rd
but he was told by a pissed off PO that bc he missed yesterday and today and pushed a test until tomorrow that makes him 3 days out and held back

He cannot study today. Where can I find out more about this?? I am at work and supposed to be working. He called and I am all freaked out!!!!
