Wow, lots happens in a day!

bobbysmom-ordered it on line and received it in Wyoming in 6 days.

elizabeth77~you hate to "nuke" to defrost.  I had grown so accustomed to nukes being our kids that I had to reread that statement slowly.  LOL

Will have to look at the Nuke moms with balls when I get home tonight; something to look forward too  :)

Have a great Monday!

Sharon - I just checked out Sym's Chocolate.  You make some great stuff.  Now I'm getting the itch to try some more new things.  I do those pretzel rods and choc. covered strawberries like that, but only for special occassions.  Of course you sell them and all we'd do is eat them.  Hmmmmmmm, I am going to have to start going to the gym every day I think.

Elizabeth, ya, for us we have the salmon burgers a lot.  They come in a big tube bag of about 16 burgers, from Costco, so we have them around a lot.  I actually use them in salads to add protein too, so they are kind of standard around here.  But I hadn't used any in a couple months.  Sweet potato fries, well, ya, we got into them a while back.  I found another big back in the deep freeze so had to start using them.  i did make up a big meat loaf too, for tomorrow night, so dinner will be easy then.

Reading back through so many pages, wow!!

I am loving our new slogan!!!! I have to make more Cake Pops for a friend who has a friend that will be getting married in July. So, I am making something different. I ordered a "My LIttle Cupcake" mold and it makes mini "cupcakes." It is really cool and I can't wait to see how they turn out. I am making these and cake pops and decorating them and will place them in a flower pot, wrap it in a bag with ribbon. I will take pictures of course and put them on Sym's Chocolates. I finally finished over 250 "Africa" shaped sugar cookies for a fundraiser for a girl at our church. I have a company that makes custom cookies cutters, so I got one in the shape of "Africa" as that is where she is going on a "Missons" trip over the summer. Then I iced them with royal icing in the colors of the flag. I was very happy with how they turned out being the first time I have done them.

The mold for mini cupcakes for those that are interested is:

You too will find this very cool and a new fun way to make "Cake Pops!"

Long day as well as long weekend. Dinner tonight for us was a mix of mini pizza's and fried sausage that needed to be cooked. I am loving the sounds of the pound cake with liquer!!! You will have to let us know how good it tasted!!!!

Is salmon burgers and sweet potato fries a rut?  Sounds too good to be a rut to me.  Can't really share any ideas tonight.  Was going to make a rather common for us and I'm sure many others, baked chicken, rice and artichokes but the chicken was not defrosted and I hate to nuke it to defrost it so we ordered a pizza.  Now that I have eaten it I feel less than healthy and yucky.  Tomorrow we will have the chicken which is marinating...although it's still partially frozen.

My 26 year old daughter wants to make a sour cream lemon ound cake and I keep wondering if she will notice if it's mixed with lemonchello liquer and dipped in chooclate tomorrow morning....
