I'm glad you like it. I know it can apply to any age child. I've sure been thinking those words about my sailor since he was just a baby too. :)

Kris, If your son's instructors believe he knows the information but has trouble writing it down, they will give him an oral make up exam if he fails. They really don't want to lose guys who know their stuff and will make great Nukes.

I started humming "Bali Hai" as I read these. I think we should have a N4M reunion in HAWAII!! Bring out those grass skirts - our new fashion statement!! I personally wanted to thank everyone online for giving me their support and understanding while I was dealing with Matt's "code of silence". Now I think we should all get behind Pat (no pushing or shoving, please) and go to Hawaii with her. She may be a team player, but the fans in the stands need to go too! I vote Yea on this one!!

Hawaaii will sound ok come this winter, but my cousins husband is on his final leg of serving 25 years and is getting sent to Austrailia apparently.
my sailor called at 905 am central time & said it was 105 in GC, he said they'd taken a tough test & he was worried he might have failed - said most of the guys in his section were nervous about it...(apparently its called the widow maker) {this is Power School}.
His issue is he understands everything he just cant write it word for word like what they want.
it was nice he called me :)... i told him it'd be ok and I love him!!!

My oldest son is being transfered to Hawaii later this fall. So, I'm definitely planning on heading that way. Jan or Feb, either works for me. Pittsburgh is no place to spend the winter if I can help it.

@Pat.......that's too funny. I live in Michigan and I would go to Hawaii in January and February!! Anything to get out of the nasty weather at that time.

Mrs. Andy, Go to Hawaii when Chicago temp is 30 below.??.......gosh, it's a dirty job but someone has to do it! NEVER let it be said that I am not a team player!hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
