I am hoping that my son choices Ballston Spa when the time comes for Prototype... a long time from now.  My niece just moved to Plattsburgh, so it would be nice for them to be within a few hours of each other for awhile.

For those who do travel to the area, check out her store in Lake Placid, House of Jerky.  Maybe someday son's wife will open one in Charleston.  At least they are talking about it.

it's sad when any critter that has become a part of your family has to be put down, or passes in the night.  Our beloved rat ( yes, beloved and a RAT) passed in his sleep on june 16.  Was very hard, I cried for 2 days. Made us cling to the cats and the dog even more.  Planned a birthday party for the dog to ease the pain.

Linda, I can truly say I can relate to your puppy except we had to put one of our own down 1 1/2 weeks ago.  Reese was a 9 1/2 lb. Golden Retriever that belonged to my son but was also brother to ours and a product of our own female.  Reese was born right beside our bed and so having go through watching my son make a decision to put him down after watching him wither away to a rack of bones was awful.  Started a small limp and within two weeks was turning scrawny.  Less than one moth total he had to be put to sleep as it appears the bone cancer then spread to his lungs.  Cried and cried and cried!!!

Emily thought you would enjoy this...was flipping thru channels tonight and saw a new show on TLC. Called surprise homecoming (looks kind of just like that coming home show you always talked about) but it's hosted by billy ray cyrus. Looks to be mostly army but still a good show. and yes, i stopped and watched what was left of it when i found it haha! but i thought you would appreciate this

Mary Mary, College student?  I have a very good friend of my boys who was in many of our drama productions who attends Valpo.   I, too, would long for ocean breezes vs this lousy humidity.  Been unusually humid this year and began very early!  yuck!

Looking forward to having my EM PO3 home next week. Big barbq planned for next  Tuesday!

Sherri, praying through the delay.

Thanks ladies, I'll keep trying. Do any of these remedies also work on darks? I guess I should just get brave and try it, since they are ruined already - can't really make it worse.
