Submom...I will.be praying for him too. My son was so discouraged when he left after Christmas.  It was so hard to see. I hope your son has some type of support like a good friend. I'm praying very hard these days.  Please keep us posted as to how he is doing. I'll be thinking of him.

Rebecca J he graduates in April. I just keep praying for him but there is no life in his voice when he calls (which is very infrequent since he returned from Christmas stand down) as he’s pulled away from me and his dad

Submom....that is so upsetting.  Honestly some of the things that go on in the navy are very unsettling . Your son should have a different chief in prototype. When does he graduate? I'm so sorry. My son has been through some tough circumstances so I understand how you feel. It is so hard as a mom.

Has anyone’s sailor had a Chief that rode them constantly? Our son has good grades and does well with PRT but can’t seem to to get in good graces. It is very unsettling as my son told me he is worthless and has given up on being happy. Does the Chief at PowerSchool go to prototype with the class or is it a different Chief?

Submom. ...thank you so much. I'll be here when you need me.

MoMom congratulations to your sailor! Hoping he gets much needed rest.

JayDee You crack me up about your socks and undies.

Rebecca J hugs to you now that you are in silent mode. I am not looking forward to that day.

Mo Mom. ..congratulations. My son didn't qualify unail the last minute either. Luckily we didn't go because he didn't participate. It happens a lot with prototype.

We got an email today...run silent run deep has a whole new meaning to me. Getting used to the no communication is a process.

Happy weekend everyone!

I like the whites but think my daughter resembles the Pillsbury Dough boy, thank goodness she has a great figure. I liked the previous female dress blurs. My daughter was in ROTC and I'm used to seeing her in the bucket cover as opposed to the dixie cup. She loves the new uniform though and prefers the  $15 dixie cup over the  $50 bucket .  Ladies  ask your kiddos for their old dixie cups. They're great for growing hens & chicks or just as a desk decoration at work..

New member here, thank you for the warm welcome!

If all goes according to plan my SR kid graduates in Feb and then moves on to Charleston. I have a lot to read here and so much to learn. So glad for all you Navy Moms - what a great resource!

If you missed a graduation of prototype at least at BS they post pictures on the fB page. They also post if they advanced. Not sure about GC.
