Hi all - Happy Wednesday!

Love the picture of the grandbabies NancyJo!  Gosh they sure are adorable ;-)  And it sure is nice that all your kids were able to get together with their dad....I'm sure that had to take a lot of planning for everyone but glad it worked out!

CoTwin - I sent you a PM about a FB group you may want to join.  And NancyJo i'll pass on the info about BS to my friend.

My son went to the VA hospital between classes today.  Stood in line, was finally assigned a primary care dr and then given an appointment date of OCTOBER 18TH!  Good thing it's not anything serious lol!  The ER dr told him to keep it immobilized in the sling for 2 weeks so hopefully it can heal.  He'll continue to do that & then see what the VA hospital says down the line....

My mom had her follow up with the surgeon today and was released so that's good news.  Her headaches have stopped and her BP is down so I think she's on the road to recovery!

Hey NancyJo......what a beautiful bench-ful of grands!!!!  I prayed for them to come to Jesus sometime in their life......how precious these little ones are....hope I get to have as many as this....right now only 1....she was here for a short time this past weekend...forced me to find the old duplo blocks and cars.....she loved having grandpa and I pushing the cars back and forth...at 13 mo. she can't quite do that...but she loved putting the 4 chair coasters in a box and then taking them out for us.....such simple things.....she is learning who is who...ie. "take this to grandpa".

My youngest daughter drove down to Summerville to visit her nuke brother and her older sister and bro-in-law.  So nice they love to get together.  She then came over and spent some time with her younger brother who has moved home for his senior year at USC.  They spent many, many years playing in marching band together.   Love to see this sibling interaction.

Off to spray paint another coat on the candle sticks.

It is beautiful here in SC!!!!

COTwin, for good?!?  That is so awesome!! Congratulations and tell him we say Thanks for his service. So glad he is coming home to stay. Meanwhile, lukewarm? LOL

B'sNuke, I'm not sure if the group I found is the same one I was in. There is a group called Stationed in Ballston Spa, I believe. The group I was in was very good. I can't testify about this group if it isn't the same. It's a small group from the looks of things.

Sorry to hear about your son's shoulder. Drat! Those aren't  fun. Good luck to him and keep us posted.

My ducks are all home now after spending the weekend with their dad in Las Vegas. My sailor took leave and it was the first time all 4 of mine were together to just hang and be together for years. Here are all my grandchildren.

Had a great camping weekend. My Nuke son texted that the hurricane was no big deal and he was headed to the beach.

His twin tonight is in Charlotte WV, heading back to Colorado for good.

Hi all - Happy Tuesday!

NancyJo - if you know the name of the group could you send it to me please?

I got a call from my sailor yesterday morning.  He was longboarding and fell off - separated his shoulder.  Ended up in the ER.  I've been asking him for months if he figured out how to use his medical benefits since he was out and he never got around to it....and of course he didn't go to the veterans hospital.  So now he's trying to figure it all out.  Yesterday he talked to someone at the VA who told him to call back today when the doctors are in.  He called and now they told him to come in tomorrow and talk with a health benefits advisor so they can update him in the system and hopefully get him assigned a primary care physician.  Then once he gets a primary physician he can make a dr's appt.  The ER put him in a sling and they told him it was a type 3 separation (which I guess is pretty bad!).  So cross your fingers he can get in soon to find out whether or not he'll need surgery.  And he's only in his 3rd week of college so he can't afford to miss any classes.  sheesh....at least when all is done he'll know how his medical benefits work lol!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend ;-)
