Speaking of airports be real careful when following Google Maps driving directions I was going there using GPS on my Android phone and it took me right to the security gate at the Air Force base instead of civilian CHS airport. Yes I had entered the exact street address of the airport.

HAPPY GRADUATION EMILY!!! Have a wonderful time and enjoy all the wonderful moments that will become treasured memories!! Enjoy being with Aaron too!!!! Hope all went well with his flight and the long drive.

I have seen the "cake pop" maker in ads and online. I will have to check it out next time I go to Kohl's. They are the big craze right now, so it would save time crumbing, mixing in the frosting and hand rolling all of them! I did some for an 8 year old birthday party today. I have two orders for this week and all are hand rolled and decorated! Loving it though!!!!

Navy Mom LG....Yes we are planning to leave MN early on the 13th, stay one night in a motel, and be there later on the 14th.  I had the thought the other day wondering if anyone from up here in MN, or along the way needs anything taken to Goose Creek.  There is just the 2 of us in my escape so we do have some room.  The offer goes for anyone in the group (within reason, we do not have a trailer hitch).   We expect to leave SC on Sat the 18th.

Have a great graduation party Emily, and enjoy having Aaron home so soon again.  You worked hard and deserve a great celebration.

Thanks for the advice ladies! :)
My mom is going to go with me (his mom was going to but she got "sick" at the last minute).

His plane just arrived, so they'll be taking off soon. I probably won't be around much this weekend, so I hope everyone has a fantastic Memorial Day weekend! :)

yes, stay safe!  I'd go now and sleep there, but I'd go in and sleep!  Be careful either way though!!!  I know you are so excited!!!

Congratulations to everyone who graduated today!  I have a long way until A school graduation which is scheduled for Oct 14 for my sailor.

maryquitecontrary - my son is definitely glad to be in Phase 2!

Emily, I think you should pack a pillow and blanket and head out before you get tired, then sleep in the car, if it feels safe to do so.  don't drive in the wee hours of the morning if you are super tired.  You will want to be there to greet him, I'm sure.

BLW- Congrats to your son! :) He's headed out to the Louisiana, right? :) Is he married? My sister-in-law is a Louisiana wife. :)

MOMS! When I was going through Kohls today (with my real mom :P), I came across a Cakeball machine! It looks like a purple George Foreman, but it's used for making Cake balls! I actually took a picture because I thought of you all. :)

Ughhh. Aaron's flight has been delayed. He was supposed to fly in at 11:30 and I was going to pick him up. Now he doesn't even leave CLT until almost 1 am! And its a 2 hour flight! UGH! Not to mention its a two hour drive to the airport. :(
I can't decide whether to go get him right away or just sleep until 4am and then get up and go pick him up... :/

Lisa L -- LOL on the outstanding room comment.  Probably because none of us moms are as scary as officers in the Navy.
