Chipmunk - Big Kid had his teeth cleaned during T-track. I think he received a call one day saying show up such-and-such day time for your appointment.  I don't know about the once a year part.

Anybody know when or how the sailors at GC go about getting their teeth cleaned?  This mom is getting rather bothered because my son is now about to miss two dental cleanings and check ups from the schedule I had our family on and so far he hasn't heard anything about getting his teeth cleaned. He checked around Nov/ Dec and was told they would do it later. I can't remember if it was during T-track or Power School. He also said they only get their teeth checked once a year!  I am beginning to think I should have told our dentist to just have cleaned his teeth in Dec and I would have paid out of pocket for it, when he was home. Thanks for any insight from anyone.

PattiP - I understand how frustrating all of this can be. And I would be saying the same thing to my son - time to take it to the Top!!!!

ProudOfK and Sgtsixpack, tell your sailors congrats. And ProudOfK, way to go on moving right before your trip. Sounds exhausting!

B'sNuke: I think all real estate in the west is in a feeding frenzy right now.

PattiP, what a situation. Somebody needs to wake up.

Hi all - Happy Wednesday!

ProudOfK - BZ to your son!  So glad you got everything done with the house and can enjoy Power School grad!            Have fun :-D

My mom's house went on the market over the weekend and she already got an offer yesterday for $20k over asking price! There's some other interested parties so they've asked her to wait one week so everyone can see the house and then she can accept an offer.  I'm crossing my fingers by this time next week she'll be in escrow - and then I don't have to worry about going on my vacation lol!

Sgtsixpack - be sure to get in touch with ProudOfK so you can get some pictures - I knew someone would come through for you!  Way to go nuke moms!!!

NancyJo - How is everyone doing on your end?

PattiP - any news on the DD214?

Rebecca J - we've never been to Sundance before - we normally go to Mammoth in the summer but I hear this is very similar.  Looking forward to it ~ I really need a vacation!

ProudOfK - So glad to hear that you have the move and house sale all behind you. Enjoy time with your son.

Congratulations to all the Power School graduates!!

Sgtsixpack - I sent you a pm but you will need to accept my friend request to get it.  I am going to Power School grad this Friday.

My young man passed his comp test and Power School class with flying colors.  He is then bound for New York.  Thanks momterp - hope we see your son this weekend.

And since we fly out tomorrow I better start thinking about packing.  I think I'll sleep and then pack.  Nothing like the last minute but that's what happens when you just finish moving 2 days before.  But now we can truly enjoy our time with our son as we're completely out of our old house and have signed all the papers on the sale.
