Is there a place you can go to for information or does the source come from your sailor. Thanks so much again for the help

My son was grad and go from Great Lakes and I don't remember anything that said that other than he himself telling me during one of his phone calls. Got him after graduation until 8pm. He graduates A school next Friday.

A School Graduations are on Fridays as are Power School.

beverly- If your sailor is an EM, the Aschool will be 24 weeks long ( s long as they don't get rolled back)

when did he get to GC and when did he actually "class up" meaning when did he start classes. cuz all you have to do is add 24 weeks to that and you have his graduation.

if you are asking so you can go to graduation, just know that A School grad is MUCH smaller than Boot and Power School. and if i understand some of the previous posts correctly, the graduation from A is during the midweek and power is on friday... any corrections would be welcomed by ladies with sailors beyond A School :)

Basicly there is an A school graduation every Friday. The school stands down for A school and Power School classes at Christmas. This year should be Friday Dec 17 after class to Sunday Jan 2 at about noon. They usually have homework the Sunday before Monday class but it all depends on your sailors instructor as to exact times but the days don't differ between classes. LC girlfriend Grad and Go is usually the first two divisions at Boot Camp but when he sends out the invitation for PIR it will state as to if he is Grad and Go (if nothing say Grad and Go then he's not) look for it but then things can change at the last minute. My son wasn't Grad an Go ( and not in first two divisions).
