My son should arrive in Charleston today. We had a great weekend at PIR and now I'm anxious to see how he likes South Carolina.

When my husband was in the Navy, we had to keep our registation current (Licence plate tag) and not the vehicle inspection sticker(s) as we were not living in our home state of PA. We lived in FL, MD, and AK. I would check with the DMV and ask since you are active duty what their policy is regarding regist.

well shoot sounds good to me!
i was just browsing some sites and they seem to conflict with lots of what the say about the registration part...my tags don't expire till Oct so i should have plenty of time to think about it..lol
maybe i should worry more about moving than my car registration lol...i CANT wait to be there....

We arrived in Goose Creek last Wednesday. We are still unloading the truck but the neighbors seem to be very nice~ I like it here already.. without the bugs.

Shauna- What type of boat is your husbad looking to be on? Here is a list of the different options depending on what route he's choosing.
Boomer (subs)- WA, GA.
Fast Attack (sub)- WA, HA, CT, VA, CA
Carrier- VA, Japan, CA.. and I think there is one more, but I'm not sure.

Hey ladies! I got some letters yesterday from my husband and he updated me on the sequence of events. His PIR is June 11th....3 weeks yay!! He gets to SC that following Thursday and he will be able to come get me and the baby on June 23rd! Can't wait to meet everyone! He said me a paper with the basic moving info and stuff on it and it said that you get 1 day for every 350 miles and 1 extra day. I had heard that it was 2 extra days...did they change it??

It's there you just have to cut/paste all the info included in your comment not just the underlined part.
