My husband left for Charleston on Sat. Morning. He seems to like it so far although all he had was weekend liberty. I can't wait til he comes to pick me up!

Did you try craigslist? Make sure you check the free section as well as the furniture section! The only downside is that you kinda have to stalk the free part, because things go fast, and usually sellers will want you to pick up. :)

Congrats Kristen on your Sailor hubby! :-) Darla....looks like I'm following you around N4M...if we ever end up on here at the same time....maybe we can start some mischief :-)

Ashley - I'm glad you are getting to finish! What is your degree in?

Hey everyone! My husbands PIR was yesterday!!! We all know how that feels when you see him for the first time! This morning his flight left at 7am for Atlanta, then from Atlanta to Charleston! So he should be down there by now. I've been reading posts from Cheyanna on here and everyone's responses.. so I think I should expect to see him in about a week or so to move me and the kids?

Also, I have a questions! .. If anyone can remember, or knows, what does your husband do down there for the first week that he's down there? Does he get a lot of stuff taken care of?

Just checking in with you girls....Ashley - yahoo for the orders. :-) Will the move interfere with your college courses - or are you taking online?

WAY BACK WHEN - I was an army wife right out of high school, and was taking courses.. LOL it took me 10 years to get my degree, because we'd move, I'd loose credits, then have to wait to for the next quarter/semester to start, and then I started having babies.....but I did it!! :-) There wasn't any such thing as internet and online degrees back in the Stone Age. :-)

Happy Friday and have a great weekend!! Looks like I'll be heading up to bring Phillip's truck in a week or two. :-)

Thank you Ashley !!! Yep - you actually have a number of moms lurking here from our Bootcamp group. We can be right "motherly" at times, especially when one of our little sis's are struggling or are not eating their veggies to suit us! :-)
