Hey ladies-

So i just have a few questions. Mike and I have decided that we want to get married. Now i understand that he has to ask permission, and that once he has asked we can get married. But we are facing a predicament in terms of moving. Mike just started A-school. He said that in class the other day, they were told that they only have one week between the end of A-school and Power school.

I was planning on moving out between A-School and Power school, but now I am worried about base housing. I was looking for any advice that any one could offer. I dont know how to go about this process any more, and any help is welcome. Thanks ladies!!

One more questions...Do the spouses have a lot they have to sacrifice by this I mean do yu have to accept that you are going to spend a lot of time on your own and with out your spouse? I know there must be supports groups that you have there at Charleston.

What is the pros and cons of getting married while in A school? Hey you young wives out there, how much time do you get to spend with you husbands and how much of their day is spent away from home? Is it better to wait until Power school or even Prototype? I keep thinking that any extra distractions in life could have an effect on their training and GPA but on the other hand if the one you love is with you maybe you can relax and study better.

Our son graduated from A School (Goose Creek's Nuke Program) on March 5, 2010. We haven't talked with him since. Does anyone know if they've lost cell phone and/or computer privileges? We haven't been able to reach him. Please reply -- we're very anxious about this. Thanks!

Hiii everyone! Just have a question! My husband has about 5 weeks left of boocamp left and then we're moving to Charleston for his A-school.. we're going to do the DITY move because all of you convinced me too. :) Plus I got to talk to him on the phone a few days ago and he was informed about that in boocamp..so we'll be doing that! Anyways, my question is, when he completes all of his schooling and is stationed somewhere else, will we be supplied boxes to move again? Say, if we were going to do the DITY move again? I always wondered. Haha :-D

I just want to know how the weather is. I am packing and we are coming to Goose Creek next week for 5 days to see our son. We are very excited and staying at Foster Creek Villas! Thanks for any info.

Thank you, Edsmom! You're more than welcome to change it or fix it and turn it into a poem that's by all of us! It really helped me last night to try to help that new mom. I hope that you have a wonderful day. Each day that are kids are safe is a good day for us! Nonetheless, there are days when it's just very tough on all of us. Even though we're so very proud of our loved ones we all miss them very much. Although people do try (God bless them) to understand, no one could truly understand what some moments are like until they experience it firsthand. I'm so glad that we have each other.
