Hi Cookie,  Someone else may know more, but when my son was in OCS in 2011 he could only receive e-mails on the weekends.  I believe it was both Saturday and Sunday.

aggiemom,  Some of the candidates who roll, wind up being some of the best candidates, and are sometimes appointed the leaders of the class they join, because they have three weeks of experience vs. the Indocs coming in!  I'm sure he will do great with the next class!

I'm not worried now. When I missed a call from area code 401 I was worried. When I did talk to him he was fine, he even joked that he would have a little more money in his bank account. He'll make it, it's just a 3 week delay.

Aggiemom try not to worry. Your son will return to next class and will move past this. He will return stronger!

It's hard to say how many roll.  Jenn lost 6 in her class - she was in 17-12C.  There are several events that can cause them to roll.  All the way up to the end of week 8.  Try not to focus too much on that tho' - - for some it can be looked on as a good thing because it gives them more time to work on their weakness and become stronger.

He is getting to come home for one of the two weeks. I believe he is using leave. Before he left he said he would take both weeks even though it meant he would be in the hole. Either they aren't allowing them to take both weeks or go in the hole. I didn't think he would get both weeks due to the wording of leave guidelines on the OCS page.

Any idea how many usually roll?
