Hey all... im back from Ga.. had a great visit with my sailor, Vicki im sorry I didn't take pictures but there are lots of bull dogs everywhere lol UGA is a huge school and the base is right in the middle, there isn't much to do there, its a college town, we end up going to Atlantla to the World of Coke Cola tour, that was ok but there was 70,000 extra people in the city and the cirus and national cheerleading comp that weekend... sigh lol lots to do and so little time, weather was warmer on Friday/ Saturday, the base is still tiny, but we got on base and visited the NEX and the grocery store, my son has a office on the base and is still working for the the captain on closing the base or has been working on a local golf outting/ball there having in March he is soliciting local places for gift cards etc, whatever they want to give....
Margaret im sure your son will be in the July's class and the classes are now 5 months long is what ive been told.. there not closing the base completly down they have navy/marnies there..im not sure what the marnies do there, its just the navy is moving supply school up to RI when the new building is finshed
