FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I'm jealous I never got an emails lol.. just a phone call every weekend until he got his cell, which wasn't until he started getting liberty

he is a (officer candidate) and he will be untill his last week he becomes a candio and at graduation he will be commissioned an Ensign 0-1 is his rank

We ordered my son a gold ensign coin and a key chain and other stuff for his apartment .. I never knew about the sword thing.. only the top guys in ocs class get to use the sword during graduation.. the last name thing is a puzzle to me because you weren't allowed to use it on any pictures or blogs we had to send it in private if we wanted any one to know our last names... just wondering lol

lol Carole i'll send it your way... ok... there giving the kids COLD DAYS now... if it gets to -30 with temp&wind chill they get the day off.. now when i was in school.. your butt went to school even with -30 temps

Sandy.. I'm also sorry for your loss....One of the mom's of my sons class, died of cancer 2 weeks before they graduated, it was also very sad, but they let him leave tend to the funeral and return.... our prayers are with you

i'm jealous ...I never got any pictures.. but i have to tell you all a funny story..
my son was there for thanksgiving and I was real upset thinking about him on wednesday night before thanksgiving not being able to eat a nice meal.. the church group had a thanksgiving dinner for all of the OCS cand the Saturday before... anyway so we get a phone call from my son thanksgiving morning at 10am and he is in NEW YORK CITY AT THE MACY DAY PARADE in a special place where all the high city officals sit with a police scored.. they gave his class 3 day liberty at 9pm wednesday and they drove all night to get there lol

Centers is still there.. she has a facebook and the picture on her facebook is on a cartoon picture of a female marine yelling ...its really funny
My son James use to sneak up to holding and get 1 oz peanut butter packets.. he was starving.. he knew they had them up in holding.. on a better note did everyone get to visit the creamery while they were there? it was yummy
