1fireteamwife:  Sounds like Thurs will be 1-1 (week 1, day 1) for your SR's division.  So Thursday should always be Day 1 of each new week.  Weekends don't count so his days will be:  Thursdays (Day 1), Fridays (Day 2), Mondays (Day 3), Tuesdays (Day 4), Wednesdays (Day 5).

I need to send my son's ATM card to him (it arrived the day he left!). Does anyone see a problem with that? Will he need a checkbook too?

Thanks!

Hello! My son arrived at BC on 3/29.

I spoke with him today (post is on "Calendar for March 2011"-posted in a couple of spots before I made my way here!), and managed to ask if "P" days were over. He said tomorrow should be the last day. So, Thursday will be the first day of the first week of eight weeks?

Hello everyone!  My daughter left for BC on March 30th. Still waiting for our form letter with PIR confirmation and believe it or not, hope her PIR is 6/3. My youngest daughter graduates from college in NY on May 28th!  If PIR is 5/27 we will be on a whirlwind graduation weekend!  I will be sad if my SR has time to spend with us after PIR and we have to leave! When it rains it pours!

Hi, I'm Betsy and also a veteran mom (although a little more recent than Dianne, Lala and Jessica).  I will be checking in on here to help wherever I can as well.  My son graduated from BC in December and is now in A school in Pensacola, FL. I can't wait to get to know you all and go through this journey with you.

Welcome everyone, I am another veteran mom here to help like JessicaB and Diannep. I joined this site last year in April and have been helping to "Pay if Forward" since my daughter had PIR in July. Your group will grow quickly and you will make a lot of new friends from this group. Hang in there, the first 2 or 3 weeks are the hardest but it will get better. If you have any questions ask, that is what we are here for. :-)

Hey, everyone.  Joining as a veteran to help with questions!  Jessica and I have been on here for over a yr and are here to help!  Welcome to the group!

Thank you laurelbc for starting this.  I had volunteered but wasn't sure I'd be a good group admin.  I'm glad someone else took the lead.

I received my "KitB" Thursday; very happy to get the dirty clothes and paperwork but super sad.  It was the first time I cried and quite a drawn out affair!  I received my form letter today and the notes at the bottom that my son wrote were very encouraging.  He actually seems to be enjoying himself!!!

I look forward to talking to you and all of the other PIR 05/27/11 moms over the next few weeks.  Good luck!!!!

If you would be so kind I would appreciate it.  Gotta answer my door.  Your help has been awesome.
