This is the final test for your SRs. It is an overnight 12 hr drill that tests them on all they have learned and may encounter when deployed on a ship. It takes place on the Disney-created USS…Continue

Anybody have a daughter in division 182? I was hearing from her regularly but haven't heard anything since Mother's Day. Silence is so hard! She mentioned in her call that there were lots of people…Continue

I think Lisa is talking about getting stains out with the pen. Especially useful when wearing Dress Whites :) You can just LOOK at them and they get a stain!

weather outlook for PIR weekend. nice but not cold not to warm.
dianep, my SR in Div. 181 wrote they had tests and inspections scheduled all week and still had to do firefighting and battlestations. I don't believe they will do BS until Sunday or Monday but do not have the confirmed date for BS.
I'm lighting my blue candle for 179 and 180 BS tonight! Good luck!
Jasmine-THANK YOU so much!
This is great to know!
Oh and Sonia I'm sorry I meant to put in my last post that I am sorry if my posts made you feel that way, not my intention at all,...sometimes writing stuff doesn't always come off the way we want it too...even with "expressive" punctuation :-)
Hi all, this is Jasmine, Sonia's daughter, again...I just wanted to give you all a heads up on the mail situation, since I have gone through it already once with my husband a few years back. I wrote my husband EVERY day that he was in boot camp, up until the day I got on the plane to see him. They absolutley will get their letters. They get forwarded to A-School. If not, they will be returned, but I have really never heard of that, I just know they DO get sent to A-School....It takes a little while longer to get to them in A-Shool, but they eventually do get them...my husband got at least 20 letters from myself and family members that had written him in BC while he was in A-School, and his A-School was in MS.
And also remember, throwing away mail is a federal offense, so I really doubt they would just get rid of any incoming mail for recruits that have graduated.
Here is a link to a picture of one of the letters I sent my husband that got re-routed to A-School. By now, RTC already has their A-School adresses, so they are ready for any incoming mail after they graduate, it happens all the time...

I would say, keep writing...trust me, the will love getting those letters in A-School, knowing that you were writing and keeping them going right to the end...I know my husband did :)
