I JUST got a disturbing call. My son said he has pink eye and if he does he may not be able to do BS with the division. Please keep him in your prayers and good wishes. He would be devastated not to graduate with his team. He did not call about the pink eye. He called for security info and mentioned it in passing. Oh dear.   a new worry.

Everyone wondering about the password.  There was a posting from RTC on FB yesterday in which they basically said they don't give out passwords and they do not give "hints" to a password on a public website as this is a secured Navy Base.  They are on lockdown due to recent world events, so I imagine security will be very very tight.  Please don't post the password here or on the other sites.  Hate to have the Chief PO waiting for me on base with a mad look :)

They usually get more time for this call, many get an hour. It does depend on how many are waiting for the phones and of course it also depends on how many people they call. My Sailor called me first, then her dad, her grandparents and then her boyfriend, then she called me again lol. She had 45 min total for the calls but some get more and some get less. Good thing I had sent another phone card, they use up a lot of minutes for every call.

texasmom:  I'm A Sailor calls usually start coming in around 2 pm GL time...sometimes they start a bit earlier, sometimes later...therefore, phones GLUED to you all day!

Lisa you sound like me, I always loose things, or used to. Now I make copies of everything. I was so afraid of taking my order book for the ribbons with me to VA when I went to see my sailor that instead I made copies of the upcoming PIR group pages with the orders so I wouldn't risk lossing it.

Thank you again so much Diannep, Yes, I have kept all my letters even the form letter in an envelope in my bedroom by the computer.  So, yes I was thankful that I did that right from the begaining because, he has been in there now for 4 month and for me to remember something like that for 4 months would have been horrible. lol :) my brain cannot remember thing that long.  :) I am so excited we are down to 8 days.  I cannot wait... I know that the gas chamber is over and my SR said it wasn't that bad. Burned his eyes alot. He said that they were doing their last PFA friday, I hope that all went good.  I guess they will do their battlestation on thursday, 2days, yea.... I can't wait for the phone call.  I guess it will be Friday afternoon? does anyone know about what time?

You are very welcome, texasmom.  Where the trouble comes in is for those who have lost the original form letter with the password. Many of those ladies in the past had a hard time getting the password as the PAO didn't want to give it out.

I'm glad that you had the original one and had no problems!

The gate pass is not needed if you take the shuttle to PIR.  Nor if you drop your sailor back off at the front gate after liberty.  But any time you are driving on base, it is needed.
