dianneP- With a husband and three sons I always joke about the level of testosterone in the house!

When my husband and I were dating, back in the ice age, he was the only one with a girlfriend. So, it was me...and anywhere from 3-10 other guys...and I am an only child!

They were crazy of course and I grew to LOVE shoot 'em up, action flicks etc! I still do!

One of them asked me once,"What wold you think about all of us if you weren't with us?" (Pause) "I'd think you were a bunch of (pardon my language) a$$holes (I was young, sorry). BUT, you're MY a$$holes!" That got smiles!

They were great guys and didn't mind when my then BF would say, "So-and-so, watch...(me).", while he'd run off to do...whatever the current antic was. I'd get "GF-sat" until he came back! I never lacked for quarters for video games or nice comments.

This carried on into his military career and I became "Cool Mrs. ..." . The names and faces have changed but the "courageous" men never do.

I am watching that carried on in our sons now and LOVING it! BB gun wars in the backyard with balloons filled with Ketchup and Mustard! Water, Nerf gun fights. Sleepovers with pizza, junk food, wrestling and Black Ops!

"...I love the smell of testosterone in the morning." to steal a line and alter it!

They might have to bottle it...I don't think I'll survive when the levels go down one day!

Oh...and I suck at Black Ops! I think I had like 4 moments of clarity in 2 hours! I could never find my youngest! I call him the Gilly Sniper!

Yes, they have a crazy Mom.

D for Megan- Here you go!

"EGO sum paratus. EGO sum lentesco. EGO sum Fortis!"

...and courageous y'all are!

My SR got an hour long call home today.  Sounded great.  Not sick anymore. Passed all his tests with 5.0 so got rewards.  Was going to buy a candy bar and energy drink, funny how excited he sounded to get them, LOL Little nervous about his 2nd written test this coming week, but thinks he will do ok.  Best Mother's Day Gift Ever!

182 got to call today too!  It was amazing to hear her voice.  She sounds much better than the last call.  Actually, she sounds bored... but, oh well.  ~17 more days!

Yes, Division 928 got a reward phone call today.  Very, very special call indeed.  Got some good information on what's been going on and what's upcoming.  My SR passed his second PFA!  YAY!!!!!  I'm very much relieved.  Two down and one more to go.  I hope and pray that the next one goes as well as this last one has.  Only 17 days left; I know that but I don't think he knows it!  He doesn't sound as sick any more either.  Thank you Sudafed!!!!!  Hope you get to hear from your SRs as well.

HisSailor:  Thanks for saying that.  You are too sweet.  Maybe one day you'll be the wife of your Sailor and, if we're lucky, you'll get to call me mother-in-law!!!!!  Wouldn't that be awesome?!?!?!?!?!

I'm not a mom. I just wanted to say that all of you moms on here are such an inspiration for me. You are the strong moms of the country. The moms that keep your house hold running and can still stay strong for your Sailors. I can only hope if and when I become a wife and mother, I am even close to the strength that yall show on here. Happy Mothers Day!
