Karina, our SR's are in the same DIV.  that is exciting to find someone in the same ship and div.  :) Is your SR going to be a corpman? We will have to leave Sunday pretty early because, our plan leaves at 4:40 in Chicago.

Texasmom, Hi our SR's are in the same Div. I'm staying until Monday evening, the plane tickets were cheaper if you stay the weekend, plus my SR is going to A school in Great Lakes....

Hello everybody, can you believe I literally chased the mailmen today LOL Left work early saw the mailmen on my way home, got home and had a notification that I have a letter that has postage due on it..... I got right back in my car and the chase was on....yup I tracked him down and got my letter LOL and yes it was from my SR, he had sent back a lot of the letters I've written him. Can't say I ever thought I would go chasing after the mailmen :-))

I'll be staying at the Navy Lodge for PIR, and I'm going to drive my POV to Chicago, so I'll have some room available for passengers, if necessary.

D for Megan,

I think just over the past 30 days or less they have changed A school for corpman to San Anontio.  That is what my SR told me.

texasmom: last I knew, HM school was in Great Lakes. Are you sure your SR is going to San Antonio?
Comment by diannep on May 6, 2011 at 2:52pm
texasmom:  Lala drove from NavyLodge when there and said it wasn't bad.  They don't have the PIR shuttle service, but I understand you can take a regular taxi.  Might be able to share with others there if you won't fill one up.  But the driving shouldn't be bad...this is a small PIR group.

Mine flew Delta when flying from GL, but not sure how many other airlines they use.

Thank you Proud Navy Mom, I am flying and didn't want to book a one way ticket because, they do alot more searching and cause red flags when you go one way.  And I knew the air lines fare would be more expensive if I wait.  It was enough as it was.  I wish I could take a train but, from Texas it would take forever getting there. How did you find out when your SR was going to fly out? When they fly out what airlines do they use.  Do you know?
