I only got about 30 seconds to speak with my daughter today. I missed her first call 15 minutes earlier. She did reach my husband who spoke for a few minutes and said she sounded tired and discouraged. I am feeling very sad and discouraged too and don't like this roller coaster ride one little bit.  I agree inovell, it was much easier before the phone call.  Now each day will drag on and on and my heart will be heavy with a missed opportunity.

LOL!  I never have been the type to cross out days on the calender as they pass.  I've been crossing them out since husband left, though!  It's what I do right after I get in from my AM workout: cross out yesterday.  It feels really good... like I have slayed it or something.

Virginia - good for you!!!  I know that made you feel good.  Gives you something to gauge the PIR by.    I just can't wait until we can flip the calendar to May and I can see the 26th every time I look at my calendar!  I have it highlighted in bright yellow on my calendars and each day that passes is crossed out.  I can't wait to put that last "X" on the calendar!!!!!

I noticed today that it seems even longer since hearing from my kid than it did before. Getting the calls and letters all around the same time a week ago (?) makes the wait for the next go by verrry slowly!

So I bought some more letter writing supplies today and nearing started crying from excitement in Walgreen's: in this most recent purchase, there are more envelopes in the box than days 'till PIR.  WAHOO!
