Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Greetings March Ship date Moms!  Looks like we have a date to look forward to.  If all goes as planned, our recruits will graduate on Thursday, May 26, 2011.  I look forward to seeing all of you in Great Lakes on the new Holiday, 5/26/2011

Congrats Jo11 on getting a letter today! I hope all is going well for your SR! I am hoping for a letter sometime within the next few days, so yes as always, I will continue stalking the mailman/mailbox!

Congrats CRF230dad!  I know you were so happy (happy birthday by the way)!!!!  Talk about the best gift ever!!!

Got a 5 min. phone call from my son (ship-11 div-181) yesterday, so good to hear his voice. He sounded happy and said things are going great. It was the best birthday gift I could have asked for. So proud!!!

Deniseg - TG 28 is training group 28, the group that all of our SRs are in. Every week is a new training group.

And Mom, no you never did miss a call. Definitely made things a lot easier for me to have the toll free number to call, along with calls forwarded to your cell. Love ya!

clockard:  Your son has been giving such great info on here to the ladies!  You obviously raised him right!  HA!  I know all of the ladies are so grateful for his input.

Great info about adding a toll-free phone number for your phone!  Never had heard of that before.
