Now we're up to date.  Jessica, I can add my own division to the name or should I add all who are graduating?  Thanks.

BF air - So sorry to hear your hubby was so ill! Glad that he is better.

Thank you form the heads up on reminding them to drink water.

88 to the mid-low 60's? Wow. Normal? Veteran moms? I know one of you posted how they lose some and then can gain some later that are being put back in from being asmoed.

Can't help but be thankful that 2 weeks (can you believe it?!) have gone buy and our recruits are still there. I pray that they all stand strong and finish! I wish the best for all the ones that have left.

Yay for everyone getting there calls!

Okay, I haven't been on all day and so much has happened!

When do we find out if they are GradnGo?

Refundable tickets are SO expensive! Oh well...

My SR just called, he got a reward phone call OMG he sounded so good. It just made my day :-) He kept saying "Mom really important graduation is on the 26th not 27th" I said I know... he was so surprised and wanted to know how I knew I had to say N4M's website. Everybody I hope you get phone calls soon it's such a relief...

My son's form letter just arrived and it states May 27 as grad date.  He is Div. 182, Ship 11.  I read on the bootcamp moms group site that if the recruit has A school in another, departure may be Sat or Sun.  This is really confusing with scheduling.  Guess my son will give me the facts in his first real letter.

My husband called the Public Affairs Office at RTC this morning and they confirmed the graduation was Thursday, May 26th.  We will be making plans accordingly.  I am so happy as our family motto would have been FAM and GO because of a sibling's college graduation on Saturday.  Now we get to spend a day or 2 with our SR. Now I wonder if GRAD and GO means Friday departure?!

I agree Diannep, they need to all be on the same page. My daughter had PIR July 23rd. I will never forget the call when she told us. Her exact words "Mom, I am a grad and go" she was crying because she was certain we would not drive 16 hours to spend only 7 hours with her. Boy, was she wrong,  I would have driven for 3 days to spend 10 min with her. :-) I just wish they would let all the sailors have the weekend with their families. Most spend a small fortune to go to PIR especially those who pay to fly and many drive for hours and hours. They put so much time and effort into the ceremony and spend weeks molding our family members into Sailors. It would seem so much more fair to everyone if none of them left for A-school until Monday.

AMEN, OMG!

When my son was at bootcamp, he called home and said:  Mom, I'm GradNGo.  I fly out on Sat.

This was back in Jan. 2010.  RTC says they have not been using the term GradNGo to pertain to those flying out for over 1.5 yrs, but they sure did when my son was there.  I can't wait for the day when the SRs call home and say:  I'm a Sat departure---or----Sun departure---or----GradNGo to Great Lakes.

THEN we will all be using the same terminology  In the meantime, on this site, we still say GradNGo to mean flying out too (although we add Sat or Sun departure to it to separate it from GL GradNGo).

Now, are you all totally confused?..because my head is spinning!  :-0
