Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I just sent some ribbons to Sanford and the friends who ordered them for this Fridays PIR are still without power. I hope they get it turned on before they leave on Thursday. There is just too much devastation in the world right now.

They all live outside of town.He had this pic on his FB but I am not sure who took the picture. It is scary just to look at it!

Comment by Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons on April 18, 2011 at 1:55pm: I too am from NC, I live in the mountains and all we had from the storms was wind, rain and power outages from falling trees. One of my N4M friends is from Sanford and they had a lot more damage there. Her brother found one of his friends in a pile of rubble near where his home used to be. He did not survive. It is definitely a sad time for many all over the world. I will keep everyone in my prayers. Sorry I haven't been on here to help with questions very much over the last few days. I had an unexplained fever and chills for 3 days but I am feeling better now. :-) I hope everyone has a great letter receiving week.

This world is CRAZY.

It's so important to trust God and not let fear take control. When my son said he wanted to go to the Navy it scared me so much with the way the world is and what I fear is happening. I like the way you think you are a strong person with faith, something I continually seek. Thank you

All the signes are there, I can not wait to see Jesus but I do not like this weather and disasters it is so scary and sad. The way the world is right now it seems like it could be anyday that he could come to take us home!
