My fiancé is in bootcamp right now. He graduates may 19th. He's in airman pact though. I was wondering how long airman pact safety school lasts? My fiancé gets leave after that and that's when we're getting married but I've gotta find out that date! I know it's June sometime. I'm just trying to find that timeframe he'll be back for leave. Seems like if I'm doing my math right it will be June 7th through June 17th. Thanks in advance.

congrats, when my son was there they said to him 8 weeks, but it only 1 month. whenever he tells me anything add a bunch of ??????? marks at the end of it. Things can change at a drop of a hat. So the best thing is to wait for the day he is making flight plans. That's when my son told us when he will be home. Good luck to both of you

It's the navy anything changes you should talk to him in letters. My husband was pact last year and he got 4 days after school and had to head to Norfolk. There is no written rule how much time they get. They are now at the mercy of the navy. My idea is get married right after graduation otherwise if your not on his orders you can't go and that takes a few weeks to a month. Worse off if he gets a over seas assignment you will NOT be able to go because you have to be a E4 or higher for dependants to go with. If your married he won't be sent there but if he's single he will be sent and he will get his orders right after graduation
My fiancé is required after his a pact safety school to take a madantory 5-10 days leave. That's when we're getting married. I've already figured it out. Thanks.
And on top of that after we're married and paperwork is processed is when I'll be living with him. That's already been talked over
Just remember nothing is written in stone. A war could break out and his leave is cut short or taken completely it happen to my father and it happen to my brother. Lastly just make sure you are on the orders B4 he gets his assignment because if he gets based overseas you will NOT go with him for sure. I been in the military as a brat and married to one for over 40 years. If your sailor is not a E4 or officer you will not go over seas because he will not make enough money to support himself and you that is why. My sister in law had to stay behind two years ago when my brother went to Japan because he as only a E3 and they were not married when he got his orders. She found a job in Japan being a English teacher but was left behind for 17 months until she landed it he lives on base she lives off base and he stays over night on his liberty but he is one of the few as th base is on lock down in Japan last time my mother told me. The more you learn the more you accept the stronger you become
One more thing if he's going home to visit make sure to remind him to file a chit if home is more then 150 from GL if his A school is there. Where ever your based you must file a chit to go anywhere more the 150 or 300 because Norfolk makes them do it at 300 miles where we are based. New sailors forget to file chits and get in trouble. Seen it more then one on Facebook pages.
