Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Barbara, While you are selling stuff in E-bay, get a crowbar and pull up something that is nailed down. Then book a short side trip to Santorini. Once in your life you should see the sunset over Santorini. It is an amazing island that is just a ridge left from a long ago volcanic eruption. BTW, the food is great also.

Barbara, It sounds like your daughter has a great billet. Crete is an amazingly beautiful island. Start saving you money and definitely try to visit while she is there. Its been years since I was there but I would go back in a heart beat.

Merry Christmas everyone!
I don't come on the board much, but I always keep up.

Jeano, On this subject I am (unfortunately) an expert. You can take Tums. And you can take as many as you want because all you get when you take them is calcium. One word of warning though. If this keeps up for much longer, talk to a doctor. Don't take zantac like it is candy. It is an acid inhibitor and it can cause bouce back when the pill where's off, making the heartburn come back worse than before. I've been on prilosec for 6 years and I can take the Tums on top of that any time. Good luck!

Jeano, Could be the piggy flu. My doctor tells me that healthy adults can get a very mild case of this thing. That's why they tell them not to get the shot. All I can say is rest, take care of yourself and Oink Oink.LOL

My heart goes out to all at Ft. Hood and their familes. My prayers will be with them.

Actually, the General in charge of the base announced late this evening that the guy did not die and is in the hospital under arrest. He is expected to recover and be charge with multiple counts of murder.

Well at least the creep is still alive. So maybe the Army will find out why he did it. I feel so sorry for all the Army families.

Congratulations to the Yankess. I have high hopes that the Phillies will meet them again next year in the great fall classic.
