Hi Ladies, i had a quick question, depending on how classification went in boot camp, the Navy will move me and our son to join husband. I was wondering how long it normally takes them to move us to where he will be. He flys straight to Pensacola from boot. Just trying to figure out when Ill be able to join my husband. I cant meet him right away because I have to finish my semester out but I dont want it to be forever!

Thanks Southern Lady!   Just joined, and just started doing research on Navy moving...ugh!  So much info!! haha thats a good thing though!  Just found out we are moving to San Diego middle of May, and we are really excited!  Its nice though because we will be driving, we are from Oregon, so at least we don't have to worry about airfare!  Anyway, looks like a good group! I will be checking in often!

Awesome Kricia! If you ever need anything I'm a internet power searcher!  For your next BIG move here my best tidbit. We found our townhouse (duplex if your from the midwest) via the internet and we were half the country away!  Not fun, but I found that the nicer the photos of the apartment were and I would ask for recent photos (not photos from when it was first built or the most recent renovation) if there was trash in the photos or anything broke (no joke view trash filled front yard, or broken cabinets obviously they don't take care of them). I also used google street view on google maps to take a "walk" around the neighborhood (it is filled with the type of vehicles you would expect or are there 6 vehicles in one front yard that are all broken down).

I hope your Hubby's time at boot camp goes by quickly!

I understand, lol! I'm going through the same thing with some other questions I have. The reason I know the answer to your question is because I went through the same thing. I'm lucky in that I am only 3 hours away from where my husband's school is.
