Thank you Peggy. Please convey my condolences to his family also. We were not sure where his funeral would be as his mom lives in a different state. I think I am grieving just because of the pain my sailor is going thru.

Thank You Mary.

His identity has been released now. EM1 Robert Mudd, 29 of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. The memorial service for the Olympia crew will be Thursday.

We are very sorry to hear this Rhonda, our prayers to his family and shipmates.

Kerry lost one of his shipmates on Friday. He evidently had an accident while sailing his personal boat.

Please pray for his family and friends, as well as his sub family who will miss him tremendously.

Navy Region Hawaii
As of 1:41 p.m., the State Civil Defense has cancelled the tsunami warning. The Navy has declared an "all clear" and is now in the process of restoring operations. Access will be restored to previously evacuated areas. The Ford Island Bridge will reopen. The Fleet and Family Support Center has stood down its family assistance center. Ships will be return to port.

My son called and said his sub is not leaving. They are expecting only 4 foot surge in Pearl Harbor, so they have made preparations and have been released. He said his barracks is 3 miles from shore so he does not have to worry about his building. He did say that Hickam is going to take a bigger hit than Pearl Harbor, though.

Praying for the safety of all in danger.

Just want to say, try not to worry about your sailor if you do not hear from them - phone lines are very difficult to get thru right now.

The Navy is very used to these situations - they will be safe.
