Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hang in there Katieliz...... my son is on the USS Pelelui and there have been a couple of times the ship didn't have communication. I know it is tough when you can't communicate. I just learned of Tiger Cruising. If i lived closer to San Diego and had more vacation time, I might consider. However I don't know if I could stand it. I was able to Board the ship for breakfast before it departed and I was set back. I realized then, the sacrafices everyone was making.

Hello Shirley, thanks for the welcome. It is nice to have other Navy moms. I also get frequent emails from my son. I have sensed a lot of frustration because of being sea bound without a port for so long. I feel so bad for all the sailors having to be confined for so long. Land is approaching soon.

Hello everyone that has loved ones on the USS Pelelui! My son is on this ship however he has really good friends on the USS Dubuque and Pearl Harbor. It has been interesting watching their progress. I am proud to be a Navy Mom and more so proud of the work they are all doing
