Can't wait!!!!!

My son is group ship 04 Div 341.  Don't know much.  I got his box last wed. and a letter from the Navy on thursday with a note on the comments section. He sounds good, he says its touch but not immpossible.  Can't wait to get a letter from him.

Celeste

Yeah...now we are up to three! I'm really hoping they get the opportunity to write today then we all can hopefully receive letters later this week. I've heard mixed responses as to how soon they are given writing opportunities. Have a great day!

My SR is Ship04 Div 341....I am assuming I have the right PIR date, I still haven't gotten this "official" letter yet.  He left on 8/17/11.

I am a happy happy mom....I just got my first letter from Dan and couldn't be more proud of him.  He says BC really sucks but he's getting thru it.....now maybe I can cry a little bit less too....lol

I have the password to register for Graduation.....but how to I register....what site do I go to? Anyone help?

Welcome aboard!!! Yes you found the right place and his PIR date will be Oct. 14, 2011 if he is in this division. :) You won't be able to register until closer to time. I believe its like 11 days before. And you do that at the Recruit Training Command Website. I will have to look up the exact link. But we have time. So glad you heard from your recruit. That helps so much! Keep in touch. You make number 4 so far. I'm sure our kids are getting to know each other or at least will over the next several weeks.
Thanks MichiganNavyMom....welcome aboard as well....I'm sure our kids will know each other very well by the time PIR comes!.....
My boyfriend is in this division! I haven't gotten a real letter yet though... Only the form letter. I keep checking the mail everyday hoping there's one in there!

Welcome Kaitlin! I think most of us are still waiting on a "real" letter. Hang in there. I'm so excited to see our group growing! Please feel free to ask questions, etc. I look forward to getting to know all of you over the next few weeks. It will be fun to see if any of our sons/boyfriends get to be good friends.

I'm wondering what all of them are going to be going to school for?... my son is going to San Antonio after PIR to become a HM (Hospital Corpsman).

MichiganNavyMom- My brother is in division 948, but will also be traveling to San ANtonio to become a Hospital Corpsman. Do you know how long they will be at A school?
I'm not positive, but I believe I remember my son telling me five months. Of course that depends on their grades and passing their classes. My son's best friend just graduated from basic on 9/26/11. He said he should be graduating from A school approx. 1/11/12. So that sounds about right. :) Hope this helps.
