Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Our son is in this divison - we just recieved our form letter today. It was such a relief to see his hand writing!
YAY! and i know when i got his form letter and saw those 3 sentences it made my day. i cant wait untill i actually get a  real letter from him. whats your sons name? my boyfriends name is Christian he will be going to P'cola after bootcamp for schooling. his job is a airmen

hello to all...i dont think we have many family in this div..wheres everyone.??

my son is on this ship also. who would think that 3 sentences could make us so happy. i cant wait for a real letter, i would even be happy with just 3 more sentences if thats all he had time for.

I was really hoping for something else by now. I am not sure who all of this is harder on him or us!!
I KNOW I GO TO THE MAILBOX EVERYDAY AND CARRY MY PHONE WITH ME ALL DAY. HE SAID I SHOULD HEAR FROM HIM IN APPROX. 3 WEEKS. 3 WEEKS IS TUESDAY, SO I JUST KEEP WAITING ..
hello...yeah i do the same thing ..i carry my cell n ck for mail everyday....hopefully he will call or a letter soon next wk tues makes 3 wks ..but he go to bc on wed evening..flight was cancel tues nite ..hope hope hope...god bless our sr n good luck to all...

gm..thanks for letting us know...yeah anytime this wk..hopefully..is he or she ok...thats all i need to know..fr my sr ..n if they past the swiming test..bc my son wasnt a swimmer..but took leason b4 he left...good luck to all..n yayyy for the letter now a phone call should be next in anyday...or wk..lol..did u book your flight and hotel yet...i havent yet soon at the end of this month i will...
