Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 047 and 048.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello, just wondering if anyone has received a letter from your SR or phone call (my SR is ship 12 div 048) and nothing so far for me.

Roo's mom Hi we have not heard anything yet either. my son is ship 12 div 48 too. was hopping we would hear from him for thanksgiving , but it must of been to soon. maybe they got to write yesterday. let us know if you get word and we will too.

My son is ship 12 div 048 and we received our first letter Wednesday. It was quite a surprise:) I'm sure u will be getting one soon hopefully today.

My son Steve is ship 12 div 48.  Have not received a letter yet.  Missed him lots for Thanksgiving.  He did call his twin twice.  Unfortunately the second call went to voice mail. His twin said he sounded tired on the voice mail.  Made our reservations for January.  Staying at the Navy lodge and taking the train to chicago.

We are staying at Navy Lodge too.  Probably go to Sarge's meet and greet

Got a letter today.  He sounds great, very positive.  Said his roommate is Jackson.

So what meet and greet do we sign up for ? they show3 differant ones . Anyone else sign up for one? I am working right now hope I have a letter when i get home.

Twin sailors mom- I'm sure the letter is coming soon. When did your SR call? We haven't received a phone call since the "I arrived" call. Where do u live? We were thinking of taking the train also does it have a stop in Great Lakes? Is it the Amtrak train? We live in Michigan.
We are signing up for the one Sarge puts on, I heard its the best.

We are also signing up for Sarges at Sundance Saloon. My son attended this one and really liked it. Those who are staying at the navy lodge. Did you get reservations yet? I called and they told me I could not make them yet.

I made reservtions on line for the Navy Lodge as soon as we got the letter with our sons PIR date. It let me book a room for several nights and gave me an Email confirmation. Our son ended up in the hospital (Rhabdomyolysis) on Tuesday before Thanksgiving and did not get released until Friday around noon. I was surprised that they sent him back to division 48 since he missed several days. I am assuming his PIR date is still 1/4/2013. Try booking on line.

I made mine on Thursday.  for 1-2 thru 1-5
