Good Morning!
nvygrlfrnd: I would have your phone glued to you starting Wed afternoon....just guestimating here, don't have an actual date....if not then, Thurs afternoon.
We cannot post actual dates on here, so if anyone has the exact date, just post on here that you have it for Div ___ and let others friend request/message you for it.
Can anyone PM me when div 071's Battlestations is? I've heard they're allowed a phone call after they've passed and I would love to have an idea. Thanks in advance!
You are very welcome, Lilo!
Thanks diannep. that was very helpful.
Greetings!

Here is more info from the Family Guide on where you are allowed to walk and where you cannot. They will have sailors guarding the areas you cannot walk in.
For security and privacy reasons, guests are not
permitted past the Chapel parking lot or the parking
garage structure for any reason.
From the Family Guide on RTC site:
Outdoor photography and videotaping. The graduation
ceremony is held indoors, photo taking is permitted
inside the ceremonial drill hall.
You see they say nothing either way about flash, so it is not prohibited.
What this didn't really emphasize is that you CANNOT take any piks outside of the PIR Hall on base. They are very serious about this. Thank goodness, when I asked my older son to snap a pik of a division marching outside after my other son's PIR, a nice lady walking by stopped him and told him it wasn't allowed (just another mom). He was quite embarrassed and very angry at me! OOOPS! I didn't know my rules too well back in 2010!
Yes, you can use flash. I will see if I can find any rules posted on cameras, but we had no issues using flash when there.
Where can I find the rules for taking pictures during graduation. Can we use flash. Any place off limits?
Can't believe PIR is next Friday. We are taking the train from Union Station, DC to Chicago Union Station leaving on Wednesday night and getting into Chicago at 8:30AM on Thursday (got a sleeper car)! Price was not much different than flying and more leg room! Planning to go Sarge's Meet and Greet. Can't wait. Looking forward to meet Mom's from all divisions.
