Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

djk's Mom oh I fear that, but just have to keep the faith and burn the blue candle and pray for our SR's, I worry about my son so much and hope all is going well and he is doing great as I pray the same for all the SR's this is down to the wire and I am just a mess

Anyone have any info on when battlestation is for ship 3 div 71? Oh and when should we stop writing letters? Do they receive letters up until graduation? Any info is appreciated :)

YES, Ellis0502 , that is me today. Any ideas on when div 067 with pir 1-24, I was thinking this out and if say BS21 would be next week , would they have done the final pfa this week for sure you think ?

morning all, just over 8 days until graduation!!! so excited, got my blue candle burning and praying for or SR's as they are in the home stretch, an counting the days as well I am sure, cant wait to meet you all the new friends I have made on here!!

Good morning everybody!
Got my blue candle burning..if its not burning at work, its burning at home but today the hubby is home and I'm at work so we have TWO burning--double the prayer and positive thoughts for our SR's !!!

OMG !! I have a friend with PIR 1/17 and one of the Moms just got a phone call that her Sr is not graduating.. I am sick for her! I am also more worried than ever.
