~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

I know that 067 &068 are a push divisions, think they had weapon training this week, I sure could use a call from my son to let me know if that is correct or not an when he will do battle stations. I would hate to be driving up there and not have received the "I'm a Sailor" call that would make me so nervous, good thing my husband is driving, I really need to hear from my son, I know he is ok and really busy they all are but I just really need to hear from him, been a rough day, hearing his voice would make me feel so much calmer
Brother divisions will be on the same training week/day, but the whole training group will not be on the same day. If you are trying to follow a schedule and are comparing your SRs what are doing in training with a division that is PUSH, it will not work. If your SRs division is PUSH and you are trying to follow a schedule of what they are doing, it will also not work.
I have been there, and those of us here trying to figure it all out were confused for about the first four weeks of training.
Ask your SR what week/day they are on and count from there. Ignore the weekends and skip the holidays, they do not count. Push divisions will not follow the "schedule" of training all of the time. Some stuff done earlier other stuff done later.
I do think that some don't make it thru BS but they are given another chance and go through it again. I think diannep could answer that for you.
JAB'sMom, I have heard of parents that didn't get the call until they were at Sarge's Meet & Greet! Talk about cutting it close!
Erin, I think our kid's are either on the same DOT or they are certainly close, by a day or 2 at the most. I saw Lemon's post over there and it makes sense since the mom's SR in question is graduating a week before our SR's
I am going to be very smart when this whole ride is over! (at least I hope)
djk's Mom, both of our kids arrived a day apart from eachother and ended up in brother divisions that did not start training until December 1st or 2nd I think. According to Lemon (on the other group boot camp moms) she indicated that brother divisions would be on the same DOT so mine and yours are definitely on the same page in the training book! .... whichever day that is!
Copied and pasted from a different group posed a few minutes ago from lemon elephant!! She is a wealth of info!!! MomOf4, Erin sent me a PM with some info her SR had given her, so I was able to figure out that tomorrow is most likely 3-3 for Division 911. Brother divisions will have the same MTS, but other divisions in that TG will be on a different DOT. ( I redid the math based on a different letter from my SR that is how I have Monday, Dec 30 as 3-5 for 911)
lemonelephant was on here but she is so darn busy I an sure .. Hate to ask her anything!
