For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

That makes sense, sort of. The thing that I am confused about is I printed off Craig's week by week boot camp schedule and when I would talk to my daughter she would say what they had been doing and it would jive with Craig's info. For instance, she called and mentioned that they'd had their second uniform issue and also got measured/fitted for their dress blues and it coincided with Craig's Week 3. I really have no idea where we are in the schedule because she is in a push division and they are short a week or so ???

Unless I am totally and absolutely confused or misinformed (which is VERY possible), nope. 5 days per week. Friday, December 13 was 1-5. Friday Dec 20 would be 2-5 Friday Dec 27 would be 3-4 because Christmas didn't count. Monday would be 3-5. Friday Jan 3 would be 4-3 since New Years doesn't count. Friday Jan 10 would be 5-3, Friday Jan 17 would be 6-3 and Friday Jan 24 (PIR) would be 7-3. Again this is based off a letter I got from my SR.

Do you mean Monday (tomorrow) should be 5-3? I think you might have transposed that number! ? lol

My math says Monday should be 3-5 based on a letter my SR wrote on 12-13 (Friday) saying that was 1-5 for them. The part that confused me was when he said 12-8 (Sunday) was their 1-2, but since Sunday's don't count… PIR would be on 7-3 if I'm doing the days right.

It might be week 5. My husband and I were trying to remember which day she said they were in week 3-1 when she called. We had received a few calls right in a row there and I just can't remember when they were! I am most likely a week behind..and a little confused with these holidays thrown in there too.
