Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 075 and 076

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I went to the post office this morning to weigh my letters and mail them.  Standing in line for the postal machine I suddenly realized I did not have my cell phone.  I PANICed!  The lady behind me offered to hold my place if I needed to go get something out of the car.  I told her that I had to go home and get it and the only reason I paniced was because my son was at boot camp and I never knew when he would call.  She just looked at me cockeyed and said oh.  I stood there and prayed that if he was going to be call today that it would not be until I got home to get the phone.  Thank God he had not called, but I did not get a call at all today.  And alas no mail :(

I did get my call last night and it was at my company Christmas party!  I got to talk with her for some time.  She was in better spirits.  She sounded like my girl this time that is for sure.  I could tell that she wanted to cry but she did keep it together and we laughed, we encouraged each other.  She said that she has a countdown too.

Funny how some people do not even think about the little things that keep us going.  I would have done the same thing. Hopefully you will get your call soon.  And hopefully we all get mail soon.

B'sMom, welcome to the group!  My son is also in 075.  I did get a phone call last Saturday around 8:30 am.    Have had no mail.

Hi B'sMom and Stephen'sMom. My son Mason is also in DIV 075.

jacdakarr...welcome to our Div 75 group!  It is good to see some other 75 guys!

My boy is in 75 so our kids are together!

Hi jacdakarr.welcome to the group. Our guys are together! I hope they had a nice Christmas...Have you heard from your SR?

I got a phone call from him last  Saturday morning. No letters yet. :-( I read somewhere that only the senior SR's got to participate in the Adopt a Sailor. I cried all night. But mine told me that they would get to participate. I hope they did.

Hi B'sMom, I received a call last Saturday but no letters yet. My son arrived on December 4 also and is Div 076. So our guys are together.
Still no letter today!! Why didn't they get to mail out letters last Sunday like he said they would?? This is so disappointing.
My daughter call me, keep those phones attach to you, she is doing much better, thank God,
My son called a little over an hour ago and got to talk for 29 minutes. He's doing a little bit better this week except he has a stuffy nose right now and has been up since 3am because of it and then had watch at 4am. He got emotional and started to cry a bit when they were told it was time to go. I feel so bad that he is missing us so much. I wish it would get easier for him, I hate to hear my son upset.
