Welcome to the Division Discussion for division 806.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Hope all my fellow 806 Division Moms had a wonderful Christmas even though our SRs were not with us!  Let's hope for a call in the next few days!

have u received any letters or a 2nd call yet?

Navymomma76, I have not received a second call beyond the first "I made it call" on Thursday nor have I received a letter. I am holding out hope that I will hear something soon.  I did see a comment from a friend of my sons family who arrived in bootcamp the Monday before my son.  They had just received their first letter on Thursday from their son.  So I am assuming sometime early this week.  Hope this helps.

BTW Good luck to your son as he embarks on the next level of his training!  Thank you for your support.

I did receive a call from my son yesterday afternoon - what a great Christmas gift!  He said he thought he would have time to write later in the evening.  He sounded good and all was going well for him.

I called our local telephone company to have my home phone forwarded to my cell while we aren't home. I don't want to miss any possible calls. They are closed until next Wednesday.

Ladyhawk thanks for the video! I knew there training differed from other divisions but its helpful to see it again :)

Thanks LadyHawk!

Thanks LadyHawk - it's nice to get some idea of what their days are like.  There's really been no time to get it in a phone call and we have yet to get a letter from our son, although he said he had gotten mine when we talked on Christmas Day.  It will be interesting to read a letter from him as he's never had to write a letter before, only thankyou notes.

Thanks that is so helpful!!!

Thanks for posting that Ladyhawk. Any information on what might be going on helps to feel somewhat connected. I have a a bad couple of days. It would be so nice to finally get a real letter. 3 Fridays down though right!
