Looking for family with sailors in this division. Have received 2 letters with different street addresses - one Ohio and one Illinois. Anyone having similar issues?

Hi,
I also received the two different addresses. I've been using the most recently sent one on Illinois since receiving it. Perhaps they were moved after the first week? I hope they get all their mail, no matter which address it has.
Thanks for the update. We have used both addresses. Here's hoping! Maybe we'll get an explaination at some point. Have a great day.
Yes, Our son told us specifically to use the Illinois Street address as his NEW address.
Thanks for the info, I too started using the new address, hopefully we get another letter today with the same address onit.
R-E-A-D-Y for more snail mail. = D A phone call would be AWESOME!
I've copied this from another page. Would any of you know how to get this started? and would you be interested in doing this?
A tradition among winter PIR groups is to buy inexpensive scarves in designated division colors, and wear them to PIR.
When a whole group of parents from a division all wear a certain color, it identifies them to each other and when sitting in a group it makes for a united bunch that the recruits can spot from their places on the floor.
I've read in the past they've had a lottery for who got which color. It's been suggested to stick to basic colors (primaries, black, white, grey, brown) that are easy to find. Some divisions who have a lot of breast cancer survivors, or who have family members who are fighting breast cancer, use pink scarves.
Scarves are easy to find in stores right now, and online there are some really nice ones on websites like Lands End or LL Bean. I found mine on Amazon.com.
Many people simply go to a fabric store and purchase 2 yards of polar fleece in the right color, and cut it into strips for easy, cheap matching scarves for the whole family. Many find it to be a great way to pass the time before PIR to knit a scarf, and some even knit matching hats
Thanks for any input and/or suggestions.
Sounds like a good idea once we find out what the color is going to be.
Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons I'm ordering these ribbons for our family to wear at the PIR. Just passing along info make others aware of what is available.
So very sweet! I'm totally in with the scarves plan, let us know, I will keep a watchful eye out for all information on Ship 4 div. 805! Yay!
It appears that groups are choosing......Here are some open options for scarf colors.
Orange, Sky Blue, Green, Silver, Gold, Gray, Brown (aka Chocolate), Magenta.
Fleece sounds amazing in a place like Great Lakes! Do we want to say how wide? like a standard winter scarf? (or how long probably wont matter!)
I just posted this comment on the wall for the bigger group, I meant to post it here, so forgive the repeat! I was wondering if we order ribbons as a group as well or as families? I definitely want my family to wear the ribbons for our sailor! (It said 800 division are black with gold I think?)
