Looking forward to getting to know those who are in my son's division.  He is 19 and will be a NUKE.  I am so proud of him.

If  get a phone call, and I am on the phone with a client....someone is going to get hung up on today...sorry...they will just have to understand..:)

He called and they all passed. He said the div is ranked #1 so far.

yes Praise God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea!!!!! We got the call, too, but I didn't know about the #1 ranking! He sounded absolutely wiped but in a good way!

Yeah for the call and yes extra proud for #1 ranking so far....Our SR was so tired, and also sick with a cold, sore throat....but could not wait to go get something to eat next door...I think I am floating.....I am one happy mom...

Mine sounded so grown up! Got to talk to him for 26 minutes, yay! I'm so happy for all of them. He didn't tell me about their division being ranked first either, but he did say the only flag left to get is the Captain's Cup on Saturday. Hooyah!

Congratulations to Ship 03 Div 070 new "Sailors" and all the family members! Anxious for my turn!!!

Thanks chocolatelab...I guess you are waiting for your call Today???Let us know....

COUNTDOWN:  8 DAYS SHIPMATES!  We have sailors!  Got my call (via text message from the Fiance, arranged in advance that she would get the call, since there had been NO calls at all up to this point!) She spoke with him an hour, then I spoke to her an hour!  Seems my boy has been more than sick, but kept his lip shut until AFTER BS about having a fever, and several torn muscles and possible a broken rib.  He was on his way in to let someone know when they hung up.  A little rough for me, but as always, God shows up!  A man walked in to the shop Where I work (Resort Hotel) dressed in complete Army Camouflage, He is SPEC-OP for over 20 years, gentle spirit, confident, My co-workers mentioned my son just completed Boot Camp and I was worried about his being sick. Everything this man said just melted my fears away.  Can't wait to hug all of you!  Next post I am going to list everyone who has been on this forum and start taking names!

Oh My Gosh....I hope that he is being taken care of now.....what will power he had to get through BS with all that....And i was worried about mine being a little sick with a sore throat...:(

My Husband did all the talking to our son yesterday except, I got to answer my phone, find out that he passed and then I got to say goodby at the end of the call (Darn Conference Call that i was on...Like I even heard anything after that call came)

Weather update for PIR according to Weather.com....:(

Thursday Showers High 36 Low 29

Friday  Rain/Snow Showers High High 36 Low 24

Sat  Cloudy High 35 Low 26

Congrats...my son was coughing the ENTIRE time I spoke to him...I told him to go see Medical, he said he was being stubborn cuz he didnt want to get held back...that he had the cough for about 2-3 weeks...he was going to Medical now that he passed BS...my son was down for 4 days with cellulitis when they first started boot...he was afraid to let them know he wasnt feeling well...Hopefully all our Sailors are well soon!

My son finished BS yesterday and was on his way in to get some medical attention as well!  Fever and sick for WEEKS!  I was told its quite common!  Not that that makes them feel better, but I hope they have a great plan to get them back to health so we will be sure to see them at PIR next week!
