~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

I'm movin' on too! Blessings on your Sailor's continued Navy journey~~
Leaving this group now. Thanks for the feedback! Blessings to your new sailors in their next adventures!
Had a great time this weekend with our Sailor. Congrats to all the family's. I am so proud of my young man!!
That's horrible to have paid $12/person. Shame on them! When it should have been just $3/person each way. So sorry about that, jojo. I have warned the next couple of PIR groups to be careful with this. I'm actually hoping all will use Sarge's service and forget the area service....Sarge watches out for the families...doesn't try and rip them off. Terrible of those drivers to have done that....
Hi Friends!
"I know that everything God does will endure forever,
nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it.
God does it so that men will revere Him."
Ecclesiastes 3:14
Wahine: I'm so very sorry about the trouble you and your husband had! That's awful! Normally the sailors push the chairs but maybe not because of the weather? Unless that policy has changed...I know when we were there (2010), the sailors on base pushed the chairs into PIR hall.
I hope that the excitement of seeing your sailor and PIR overshadowed this horrible shuttle/weather experience for you!
Hello All!
"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably
more than all we ask or imagine, according
to His power that is at work within us,
to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus
throughout all generations for ever and ever. Amen."
Ephesians 3:20
jojo9627,
This is the Pensacola A school group that I was a part of. It is made up of moms of Sailors studying for aircrew and IT. It is a mixed group and is very active and helpful!!
We used Sarge taxi services from Airport to hotel and to RTC for the PIR and Sarge really did a great job! We even had to go back and forth several times to RDC because my daughter had a watch duty in the afternoon after the PIR and Sarge helped us so much.If he is not available to drive us, he send other drivers and they are always on time. The rates are very reasonable. He gave very detailed instruction how he will pick us up and he always answers our phone calls and texts messages. We highly recommend Sarge !
