This will be a great place to share the news for our SRs in Division 86.  As we get letters or phone calls you can share the news with other moms/wives/gfs.  Be careful what you post though....we don't want to cause any extra issues for our SRs...I am sure they will be causing enough on their own as they figure things out.

Did anyone decide whether we are using a snow white color for the scarves or a winter winter white.

I posted on the discussion for the scarves that I was ordering through Lala. She is the one that does ribbons and also found out scarves as well. It looks snow white ( i think)  Her e mail is : uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com.  I think they were 13.00 each including shipping. I am sure it does not matter if you already purchase scarves.  We will all be white.. :)  Hope this helps.  Countdown.. so excited...

CALLING  ALL 086!!!!!  TODAY IS TRIVIA TUES.

I just got home from work... I hate that i cannot help with Trivia Tues.  Thanks to you and all that can....

I GOT TWO LETTERS IN ONE!!!!!!!!!  I was so happy I cried.  He said that he is getting my letters and that he never thought he would bo so happy to get mail.  He said is food is good but noting compared to mine.  I guess all the worry was for nothing.  Thank you all for your support and putting up with my worries.

YEA..............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am so HAPPY 4 YOU.....I am crying too.... HAPPY TEARS.... OUR SR's are doing amazing.  So excited to see them soon... HUGS

I feel like 2 and half weeks is never going to get here.  I read somewhere (forget) that next week they will be doing battlestation 21.  Is that correct?  I thought that was the last week.  He also said he is becoming a strong sailor although he is having a hard time with folding his things right.  I tried to teach that boy for years how to fold laundry and he just wouldn't listen.  I bet he wishes he would have listened now.  I guess he lost a friend of his also.  He said he had some serious family problems right before he got there and it was just too much.  I don't know if I can post what he said so I will leave it at that.  He was pretty sad that he lost his friend though.

I am sorry that he lost his friend. It is good that you did not post more. Glad he shared that with you though. It is hard...they are a team and it hurts to lose part of your team. I know when my hubby went to Iraq one of his team mates received an injury in training and had to go home...it was his bud...and that was hard for him.

Yup...LOTS of folding in BC...but here is the thing...you probably did a GREAT job...but in the Navy...you learn how to fold  everyting in a very specific way...into the size of an envelope! LOL

BS21 is during Week 7 of Boot Camp. They must finish passing all of their tests in order to participate.

So now I have to wait and wonder if he has passed all his tests.  His letters are behind in news if he is telling me he passes his swim test in this one.  That was a few weeks back wasn't it?

It is so hard to except.. no news is good news.. I am sure everything is awesome.

Naa, aahhh...'member I said that is how we have gotten our kids through stuff! LOL

CONGRATULATIONS...I can just imagine the relief and joy you feel!

So excited all.. 15 days b4 PIR....
