Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 103 and 104

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Oh boy - there's no telling! LOL (that was a nervous LOL!) LOL : )

shw92 - so I finally got the letter about the nurses! LOL He did comment that they were cute - but he behaved! How he got "in trouble" -- the nurses put some sensors on him and he said he didn't do it on purpose (yeah - whatever) but he held his breath and his heart rate dropped - then the heart rate stickers on his chest started acting up - I'm assuming he set off some alarms! Geez!

Thanks for sharing with us Popeyesgirl! Hope your son's athlete's foot clears up quickly & the rest of their division pass the PSA!! That was so sweet regarding the brother's comments about each other, since I have 3 sons myself, I know how those brothers can be!!

It's all I could do to get them to hug 'farewell' and pose for a picture! They both said - I'll come half way if you come half way - so silly! Now they kind of like each other - from a great distance! Ha! My youngest is 13 - SR is 20. : )

In no way TMI!  I love to hear what's going on with them.  I tried to see who my son was bunk mates and closer with to see if I could pair up moms....of course there was nothing to compare to tell.  I like hearing the different things from the SR's letters and phone calls so we can piece them all together!

Me too! : ) I didn't find out where my SR's bunk mate is from - I'll have to ask him next time - as I recall - his last name ends in a 'ski"! I didn't have anything to write on when he called and I tried my best to remember everything -- I'm getting old! LOL

So I have a son in div 104 did anyone NOT get a call yesterday besides me? I hope I'm not the only one. Makes me wonder why he wasn't allowed/able to call.

Do you know if he had to get his wisdom teeth out? That could have kept him SIQ. Or, maybe he was on watch?

Really? No one else? Shw92 he has wisdom teeth out for 3-5 so were not there yet. I guess I'll have to wait till Fridays mail delivery. Just makes a mom wonder ...you know.
Blessed beyond measures if it was something serious they would have called you. I'm sure he's okay. I really hope you get a call soon. Thankfully the letters are coming!!!! Only 40 more days to go. In a few hrs it'll only be 39 :)

I had read that if they happen to be on watch during scheduled phone calls (even the "I'm a Sailor" call after Battle Stations) they usually miss out, but that some RDCs will let them make it up if they can.  I'm sure he's fine, but I would be feeling the same as you are, wondering and wishing to talk.  Praying you get your call.

Pray you get a call soon! : )
