Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 119 and 120
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

My son also missed his run by 30 secs. He said more than not didn't make it the first try. Don't worry he will do fine! :) What does IT stand for?
It means they got in trouble for something. Usually means they have to do extra PT.
My son in same division and ship and absolutely loves it , he says there is some guys that are mouthy and they all get punished for it but he says just keeps mouth shut and remembers its not him really in trouble.. they dropped 8 guys already wow ... mine is headed to Mississippi for schooling
Div. 119/120, I just wrote a book on the main wall for our PIR group. I am so excited that I got a call yesterday, I was away from my computor and couldnt post it before now. My son didnt mention the other recruits but our call was short and I had to share with my husband and daughter. It was nice to hear his voice even if he had a cold.
Got a call from my SR ship 12 DIV 120 yesterday. He sounds great. Tests have been going well, not sick, foods good. He is getting his 4 wisdom teeth pulled this week but won't be set back by it. Looking forward to snow watch from 2am-4am. Passed his swim test even after jumping in the pool with his glasses on. Made me laugh. His mom is over the moon right now.
maybe some of us can coordinate and share a taxi?? anyone book flights yet??
My son is ship 12 div 119 and it was great to hear from him on Saturday. He has to have 1 wisdom tooth removed..he was calmer about it then I was! He passed his tests so he was glad.
To DTHsmom...I am also flying in and was recommended Sarges cab service..you can find his number on this site..I called him and he was very helpful and informative..highly reccomend....
my hubbys div 119, it's so exciting to hear about all the other people with loved one in this division and I had no idea it was a brother division! I got a call Saturday too, sent out his first letters 2 days ago, hoping to start getting his letters soon.
Ok knowing mail is coming I'm gonna have to stalk the mailman. Trev said he was mailing letters on Sunday his first chance to get some out. Some past Pir moms said they looked on Thurs. and Fridays. Just hope he writes more than he likes to talk on the phone but I doubt it. We changed our hotel reservations after reading this past weeks PIR moms reports. We are at the Spring Hill Suites now. Can't wait just hope the weather is good. We are driving from Florida so it will be a long drive but so worth it.
