~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

I gota call tonght!!! Best Valentines ever. They won't be able to call now for afew weeks he said they were told. He doing good. Passed his test Monday. He has a head cold, pink eye and got a dry socket from having his wisdom teeth pulled but says he's getting treated for all of this. WOW !! Just glad to hear his voice.
He called us tonight, so it was good to hear his voice. :)
Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers, I appreciate it. I pray he will be able to finish on the 22nd. He should be able to. He is shadowing DIV 125/126 and will join them once he is out of RCU.
He is in my thoughts and prayers CTMom, hope he is 100% very soon :)
My lesson for the day, don't try to go to the craft store for supplies when the President of the United Sates is in town. Traffic was a nightmare and I turned around and came back home lol. I hope all of you are having a fantastic day :)
Good Morning All!
Good Morning All!
Fingers crossed and lots of prayers for him, CTMom!
Thank you for the welcome diannep. I appreciate it. :) There have been a lot of ups and downs, but it seems like there is now a light at the end of the tunnel. He just needs to be able to do push-ups soon, so we're hoping he will finally be a phase four in the next couple of weeks. He gave us the date of March 22nd, so I guess for now I'm in the right group! :)
I would call the Navy Exchange Photo lab and ask that question. If your son has a bank account and has a bank card with him it may be easier to put the money in his account and have him pay for them with his card. You can also pay for them in the NEX the day of PIR but there may be a line to wait for them. Just be sure and tell him which package to order.
does anyone know if I can send my son a money order to him to pay for my pictures I want him to order?
